After the recent Cinco de Mayo Parade, I walked over the Bagley Pedestrian Bridge to retrieve my buggy. There was ample parking in the area, although I'm sure that changed because one last fiesta was setting up in the open space near the bridge. Because of the beautiful weather I hung out for a bit and snapped a few photos. The one below is my favorite, so I thought I'd share it with you all. If you are wondering what it's like to walk over the bridge take a look at this older video.

You always seem to have rich blue skies and white wispy clouds when shooting the pedestrian bridge. How come? I like this short follow up to the previous video/post.
ReplyDeleteI sure would like to see more of the art work. Who is the artist? Perhaps I'll take a trip there and see the bridge for myself.
For some reason I've just been lucky with beautiful blue skies when taking photos of this bridge, no idea why. I did a search and the artist's name is Hubert Massey, according to the Detroit News he's a Detroit artist. It's really nice piece of art. -- Glad you liked the post!
